    No. The messages are a reference to Kirby Super Star & it's remake Kirby Super Star Ultra. When you beat the Computer Virus boss in those games, the messages window would say things like "Something increased by some number!". Those stats didn't really do anything. The stats that actually matter in this game are Stamina, Attack, Recovery, and Team Meteor.
