Ranha shrugged to Crimson. "I dunno why there's two of 'em! Probably some weird magic junk involved." Envinn sits down on the other couch (that my marx isn't on) and sighs, setting his wand/staff down.

Kary sighed, heading back into the kitchen. Envinn looked over at Chrono and Nero. "If anything, this is sort of Orinu's fault for starting the fight in the first place. But... let's not tell him that..." Ranha's taking off her gauntlets, having set her hammer down, and then picks up the fire wood and starts putting it in the currently small fire.

Envinn nodded after a moment. "Yes, he does have something against Dark Matter... they attacked his home a long time ago, invading..." It was hard to notice, but (my) Marx seemed to be shivering slightly, despite the fact he was under a blanket and beside the warm fireplace.

Envinn nodded. "...I was there with him, actually." Ranha also noticed (my) Marx was shivering, and went over to him. "....hmm. Maybe he's having a bad dream." The Waddle Dee shrugged(?).

[so is chrono reading (my) marx's mind right this very moment or not] Envinn sits up. "...well... we used to live somewhere else... around the time 0 began causing trouble is when the invasion happened. Multiple of our friends got possessed, and some people got killed... and the entire time we had to fight through it. It was awful... Ranha got possessed, but as you can see, she's fine now."

Envinn sighed. "...at least in the end everything's alright now... right?" Ranha's went to the kitchen. Probably hungry. (My) Marx rolls over onto his side. His eyes are tightly closed right now.

Envinn looks over at Chrono, Crimson, and (M4RXXY's) Marx. "...is something wrong? I-" Suddenly, (my) Marx opens his eyes wide. And screams. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" He sounds absolutely terrified and he hops straight to his feet. He's panting, his pupils small. "...wh-where..?" He's now confused for a moment, and blinks, slowly remembering where he is. "..." He sighs.

"...y-yeah. I-I'm fine." There's an angry shout from someone upstairs, a male. "OKAY WHO THE HELL DECIDED TO SCREAM LIKE THAT" Marx flinched due to the shout from upstairs. Kary then ran into the room. "What's going on?" She sounds more worried then anything. Siz also pokes his head out of the kitchen. "Whoa whoa okay." Marx takes a deep breath before speaking. "I-it was just a nightmare!"

[i only have 6 posts left after this comment--] Marx stared at Chrono, saying nothing. He was still shivering slightly. And then he closed his eyes and sighed. As Crimson goes upstairs, he actually almost runs right into the guy who yelled. "--" The guy takes a step back. He's a pale green puffball with orange-ish red feet, and a burnt, orange bandana on his head. He stares at Crimson. "..."

[back from an unsaid afk--] "....." (My) Marx doesn't reply. The green puffball groans. "Well, I was hoping for some rest, not to be woken up by screaming." He didn't really sound happy. Just then, a white puffball with black feet and a black scarf pokes her head out of one of the rooms. "Tadd, please. He said sorry for the noise, so you can at least forgive him." Tadd crossed his arms(?). [cont.]

"...hrmph." He turns and merely goes back to the room that the white puffball's in. The white puffball exits out into the hall and heads over to Crimson. "I'm sorry about my friend Tadd. He's a big grouch." She rubbed the back of her head.

Envinn spoke up. "...honestly, we all need sleep." Kary nodded in agreement. "It's actually about midnight right now." Back at the hall, the white puffball nodded. "I see. By the way, I'm Echo." [i'm just gonna stop rping after this comment (i'll have 3 posts left). :v i'll still be around though, lel--]

"Anyway, g'night. I hope your friend doesn't have any more nightmares." With that, she turns and heads back into the room. (My) Marx still looks pretty shook up…

He remained quiet for a moment. "…meh, y'know what, I think I might stay up a bit before going to bed-maybe I'll have somethin' to eat. I dunno." Envinn and Ranha had already gone upstairs, and Siz had gone to another room in the back that was hard to spot at first upon entering the inn. Kary was dozing at the reception desk.

"…ehh, you're not the only one. So many weird things happen to me on a nearly daily basis, whether they…" He paused. "…er, have a lasting impact or not on anything. It's complicated." He had an odd tone to his voice. He then sorta just sat down beside the fireplace, which was lit up to be just right-not too big so it's distracting, and not too small so it doesn't provide any warmth.

[>sorta wanting chrono to read marx's mind at some point so i can just blab on what marx's messed up dream is like] "Err… well I don't really know what I'd-oh, you can't sleep either, Chrono?… guess we're all night owls." Marx paused before speaking again. "Y'know, back at home, if I couldn't sleep, and the sky was clear, I'd head to this one spot and sit underneath the only tree there…" [Cont.]

"And then I'd just stargaze for a while while mulling over certain things. It does kinda help me calm down from certain things." The jester's bright purple eyes seemed to have a nostalgic look to them. "…do you think I'll be able to get back home sometime soon…?"

"…err… okay…?" He blinked. After a moment, he stared into Chrono's eyes. As they both stare at eachother, Chrono finds his vision darkening as he starts to see what's going on in the dream… it starts out with Kirby and Marx sitting on a hill in what appears to be Floria. They both look younger. "Hey, Kirby? We'll always be friends, right?" Marx is heard to say. [cont.]

Kirby nods with a "Poyo!" and a smile. Marx smiled as well. "Yeah! We will be! I promise!" The jester exclaimed cheerfully. Suddenly, it changed to him kicking Kirby out of the way, in front of Nova. "Well, I want to control Popstar!" He shouts. There's a flash, and it shows him gaining his wings, a sinister smile on his face. "Oh, what a fool you are, Kirby…!" He grinned maniacally. [cont.]

It then changes to him in his soul form, splitting in half and screaming, terror in his voice. There's a faint pain at Chrono's forehead. The changes start to occur faster, then showing a Dark Matter flying into Marx's body, which then changes to show him in a messed up version of his soul form. …the pain intensifies as there's a faint ringing to be heard now. [cont.]

The changes are occuring so fast that they're starting to blur together. One scene shows Marx's left foot being ripped off. It then stops momentarily at Marx jumping in front of Kirby-and getting stabbed in the head, through to the other side. The pain's starting to become unbearable as the ringing gets louder. The changes are occuring even faster now… [cont. again, aaaaa]

…was that one with Marx getting his own eye ripped out? It's hard to tell what's going on anymore. And then, as suddenly as everything started, it stopped, showing Marx screaming and forcefully being ripped in half by dark energy. The pain and ringing stops as Chroni finds himself staring at Marx again. "…"

Marx just kind of looks away, frowning. "…" After a moment of silence, he looks back at Crimson and sighs. "…well, first of all, there is literally no fourth wall pretty much where I come from. And there's 2 timelines-"canon" and "noncanon"… and well… a lot of stuff has happened in the "canon" timeline, which is here. Right now. But even more things happen in the "noncanon" timeline." [Cont.]

[no srsly this knowledge is canon in the other rp i do off-site, lmao] "And a lot of those "noncanon" things can be pretty messed up sometimes. Normally, we wouldn't remember them at all… but uh… if they leave a big impact on certain people… welp, they'll remember bits and pieces, or sometimes just everything outright, like my friend Puff." He pauses. "…and well, I tend to remember them. A lot."

[i have 12 posts left after this comment--] [but yeah my off-site roleplays can get pretty dark at times… characters have died before…] "Yeah, sure. I suppose I may as well come along with you into the kitchen. (Anything to get my mind off that dream…)" Marx just goes with Chrono when Chrono eventually does go into the kitchen. It's currently dark in the kitchen, but it's still sorta easy to see.

[eUGH SOMETHING JUST LANDED IN MY HAIR AND WHEN I TOUCHED IT IT FELT HARD--] [i slapped it off and am currently hiding under my blanket º·º'] "Hmm…" Marx seems really unsure. "………mehhhh, I'm really picky with what I eat usually, and right now's no different." Most of the food had been put away into plastic containers or whatever's needed to store them-specific stuff isn't hard to find, though.

"Yep you were crying."

Marx raised his probably non-existent eyebrow. "So first you were worried about Chrono earlier, then me, and now we're worried about you. What ne-" The jester is cut off by a huge yawn. [oh bY THE WAY I DID A MURDER MYSTERY (MM) RP TODAY AND LUIGI (me) RO AND AMELIA FOUND CHRONO'S RIPPED APART AND BROKEN BODY] [like his face had been ripped off, as well as his left arm, and uhh (cont.)]

[yeah lemme explain (the mm roleplay is not canon by the way so don't worry)] [everyone in the mm found this weird portal thing in the forest and went in] [and came out in a different version of our noncanon miiverse roleplay world] [everyone found the inn all shredded and wrecked] [and on the second floor in one of the inn's rooms they found chrono's partly destroyed and nonfunctional body]
