    Genesect is an event pokemon so, yeah. No one is going to trade with u until u put it up for something else that isn't an event pokemon.

    He's right; if you do recieve a Genesect it won't be a legitimate one, and that means you run the risk of having your file corrupted. I've tried trading event pokemon of mine and the game won't allow me to.
