How do you level up in multiplayer?

I usually play system link and I am indeed very good. But I want to level up my charachter to show that I am good. If you have an answer please put it in the comments. :]

well,get onto multiplayer,and start killing,you get xp from kills

you have to play match making online. not bots. highly doubt your good if you dont even understand the most basic concept of CoD since 2007

Just play some rounds, The more you kill and win the higher your level wil get.

When I try to play online it says i have to buy content from the nintendo eshop channel but then when I go on, it says there is no information about Call of duty!!
