Having Alola forms is fine and all right now but in future generations getting the Alola forms is going to become incredibly problematic because unless future Generations revisit Alola there won't be anyway to obtain them without trading for them. That is unless Gamefreak goes against the rules of logic and has Alola EXCLUSIVE forms live in places aside from Alola.

    I'm expecting something like a Safari Zone with only Alolan Forms or an item to put onto a Kantonian Pokémon to make its offspring Alolan through breeding.

    It'd probably work like how 'Kanto forms' worked in Alola; you have to migrate the Alola form to actually get it into the game, but if you breed it while holding an everstone it'll retain its regional variant

    I have an idea similar to my original thought and Raen's. It'd make sense if they had a Safari Zone type of area to catch and to use an Everstone to retain the varient while also being able to pass down a nature and use a Destiny Knot.

    I think that idea actually makes alot of sense. Knowing Gamefreak and the way they sidelined Mega Evolution though they likely wouldn't be obtainable until the post game.
