    I guess the Hopper's getting powered somehow? Hoppers stop sending items if they're powered. From this angle, I can't /quite/ make out what could be doing it... but maybe get rid of the Repeater on top, and send power to the Piston from a different direction?

    Huh. Maybe try breaking the hopper, and placing it on the side of the chest by sneaking? It might not be connected to chest.
