Just chilling out, and I am about to start playing BotW. If the only gameplay complaints I have with it are two things: the voice acting for Zelda and Impa, and the weapon durability being more of an annoyance (there are no permanent weapons at all).

I'm confident it's not on the Child branch of the Timeline. That leaves Adult and Downfall. Because of how many times Ganon has appeared in the Downfall and the Hyruleans prepared for his return, I'd say it there

Zelda's quote (referring to OoT, SS, and TP), and the Temple of Time still somewhat intact makes it more of a pain than anything. To make things more awkward, the Zora don't have River Zora from my knowledge. The Gorons are also around in Hyrule in great numbers. I have to say it is either Child/Adult Timeline.

There is the History of the Zora stone tablets around Zora's Domain. There is one that is below Vah Ruta that tells of the Zora Princess Ruto that became a Sage and saved the Kingdom. After beating Vah Naboris, Uborsa mentioned that their Divine Beast was named after the great Gerudo Sage Nabooru.

Ruto, Nabooru, and the others were never awoken as Sages in the Child branch of the Timeline. There is also the fact that the Hylian alphabet in BotW is the same script used in ALBW.

The BotW map is also similar to ALttP/ALBW. Sure, BotW map is bigger, but we have Dessert of Mystery/Gerudo Dessert in the South West (both have a similar path to enter), Lost Woods in the top left( similar looking pedestal

Yeah, the timeline has been a mess since Triforce Heroes if you ask me. And Breath of the Wild only makes it worse.
