I love the LOZ franchise but if I were in Nintendo's shoes BOTW would be the last game. What else can they do to spice up the series. Link has soared through the sky,traveled across the sea,traveled through times and worlds,morphing,had a game that was a complete dream,a game where there were time limits,games that had adventures that coinside with others and finally the open world.

    Which is sad,back in the NES/SNES/GameBoy era Nintendo had awesome third party companies,but they've just let it all slip away to other systems lately...

    Love LoZ. I think there are places they can still go. BoTW could've even been better imo. Splatoon though... not so much. Just what the world needed, another way boring competition shooter. Where can that really be taken??

    Also, look at BotW it's like one of BEST games out there. IT MIGHT EVEN BE THE BEST. As long as people LOVE them, keep making more sequels!!

    We ain't gonna see another 3D zelda for like 5yrs. Besides every sequel is vastly different from the previous game. It's not like they're making sequels with incremental changes where you wonder why did I buy this like in Assassins Creed or Batman.

    Zelda makes money. The fans want more, so Nintendo keeps making them. Realistically, they're never going to stop the LoZ series as long as it makes substantial profits. As for if they SHOULD stop or not, IDK. I'm not a Zelda fan, so I can't weigh in here. That said, I'd rather have more entries in a franchise I love than for it to stop completely due to a new IP.

    Yeah all of the entrys are different but what else can they do? There is only 1 LOZ remaster that they should make imo and that's the original.

    Personally, I have no interest in BOTW. That being said, I don't think they should end the series. They've done something different in just about every Zelda game, so I don't imagine it would be all that difficult to keep re-inventing the series. I can't believe it took them over so long to put out a new game after Skyward Sword. I agree, don't continue to beat a dead horse and release a new
