So the new Nintendo 2ds is a thing now, my only question is, why are they releasing this like a few months after the nintendo switch, it is a competitor to the switch and could affect its sales

    Because they know that just because the Switch came out, that people are not going to stop using the best hand held system :D The 3ds brings in to much money for the company. And it would not be wise to end the life of a true hand held that is the best on the market. I would never use the Switch as a hand held! Only my 3ds or now the New 2ds. Why end a real success? :]

    And why not make even more money off of both? All proceeds go to Nintendo anyways. There definitely isn't a shortage of 3ds games. And so many new ones are coming like Ever Oasis, Pikmin, Snack World, Monster Hunter Stories and Miitopia :D :D I am pre ordering all, well not Snack World yet. It isn't localized in U.S, but will be.

    Yeah, I completely understand. My boyfriend works in the electronic section at Walmart and the last shipment they got was only ONE Switch :/ Which a employee grabbed lol. What are stores suppose to do with one?!? It's ridiculous. Hopefully they get more out soon so you can grab one, specially before all those people who sale on Ebay do... They definitely do not help any either :[

    But I am really happy the 3ds isn't going any where, because I really do love my hand held. They need to just get shelves stocked with both, that would make everyone happy :D

    it won't effect Switchs sales it just improves Nintendo's overall sales. if anything i am sure some people that already have a 3ds will pickup a N2DS and a Switch

    I still got the Old 3DS and the device is on everyday since launch,, I had to get a new battery but thats the only thing. I will get the New 3DS when my Old 3DS breaks-down and I will buy the thinner Switch and the device is said to be out in 2 more years, by then there should be many games available. WiiU was letdown by Nintendo neglecting it to boost 3DS sales.
