    From what I understand, the female Pokemon's species decides what Pokemon hatches, so for you to get a Chespin from a male Chesnaught, you'll have to breed them with a Ditto, which can be found in Pokemon Village :)

    Trust me, it's very efficient. I got a female Delphox, level 100 just by putting up for trade a shiny charmander that I got through breeding.
