    ...At first when I knew you were around I got jealous of you, because you were everyone's friend but me. And when you wanted to be my friend I opened up to you in the end because of how kind you are. If people really like you then you are doing something great in their lives.     Wow, I never knew you actually thought that way about me. Truth is, when I first started hanging out on Miiverse more often, I wanted to start talking with more often, but I felt naturally intimidated and hesitated. I don't even remember when it was when I finally buckled up and started following you.

    Like, I've always had a problem with being around others. I love the company of others, but I feel nervous around them. I had lots of bad experiences when I was at middle school age where people I thought were my friends started getting easily upset around me. They were always annoyed with me, and many of them didn't even consider me a friend.

    Since then, I've suffered from being a socially anxious introvert. Just talking with people is hard for me because I don't know if they'll explode on me the same way my older 'friends' did. Just talking with my siblings is hard, and I literally LIVE with them.

    I'm also not very proud of where I am in life right now. I'm not happy at all with what I've become. I'm not fit, I'm not smart, and I don't have the same natural talents others do. So talking with others is what I do to surpress that. I feel that if I can make /them/ happier, then I'll feel happy, too. It works, but then when I fail to make them happy I feel like I've failed at life.

    That's sorta why I've been feeling bad today. Something came up and I couldn't say anything right and I feel like I just made the situation worse. Now I feel guilty about it and defeated. It's been a very rough day for me, but it's been even worse for others.

    Your life is actually quite similar to mine, in fact; before I came on here I had no real friends, online or irl, and I didn't trust many people. (I still don't trust others in real life, much) I honestly feel bad that I try not to think about that fact much. Maybe because I get paranoid that life is an illusion and that everything is a lie...no really, I do feel that way occasionally.

    But if it's people you want to care about, that's great, and not being able to solve problems isn't your fault if it's beyond you. I mean, compared to me, at least you are able to know not to blame things on yourself, while for me i'm in a constant conflict on whether things are my fault or not. It's...not good for my mental health.

    But hey, the upside is, if you can't cheer a person up, that's fine. It may as well be for a number of reasons that aren't your fault. And you definitely are doing something right to me because if I lived in a noisy house like yours, i'd. Go. Irreversably nuts. And, nobody wants to see me like that. You should know it's special that you're able to handle that. ^^;
