There was no Red Koopa Troopa in this game but only Green Koopa Troopa you find. You will also find out when playing as Mario, when he hops in a Green Shell, the Green Shell color will be change to Red Shell. If you're out of that Shell, the Shell color changes back to Green and always will be.
