Andross hacks into Fox's communications channel and taunts the young pilot. Fox vows to avenge his father's death and determines that Andross must be stopped. His father's encouraging words still ring loud and clear in his memory as he endures the most grueling battle of his life. During the closing moments, his father directs him to return to his friends as he distracts Andross.
