    When it comes to that theory, I see them more as possibly the child of the last avatar than them being the actual avatar from SoS. The boy especially has a great resemblance to the male child from SoS.

    The developers confirmed that the farm the Trio of Towns main character visited as a kid is owned by the protagonist of the first SoS. They're not related.
