    IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THATS'S THE POINT OF THE GAME AND THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT AWESOME AND A TEST OF SKILL!!!

    I believe the game was made that way in order to reference the games made for the NES era, as those are difficult. If the game gets too difficult, try some cheat codes to make it easier and build up skills through experience.

    The game is challenging, but unlike a lot of NES era games, it's very well-designed and skill-based. Just keep at it and you'll be handling the game easy in no time.

    Well with all the other distractions like cellphones, tablets, multiple consoles, PC etc. kids nowadays don't have to obsessively grind away on the small number of good 8 and 16bit games and learn them inside and out like we had to back when. Less choice but more focus. Yeah

    Yeah, and there were no save files until The Legend of Zelda came out. You had to try and beat it as fast as you could. Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong were among the hardest to beat, as there were so many levels and you only had so many hours before your parents had you shut it off. Keep practicing!
