Wolves won't stand up

All my dogs are useless. I can't get any of them to stand up. I started a world, eventually tamed 8 wolves, had them all sit there for a while, and several saves later, one day I tried to get them all to stand up, and they didn't. Is this a glitch? I've tried going into offline mode, hurting them, dumping water on them, all of which resulted in them sitting again.

    Same happened to me! I had one dog, then I died, and when I came back, it was like it disowned me! I tried with another, I died, It disowned me.

    I just tested it. I can confirm that wolves stop obeying you once you die and respawn. That's REALLY a problem, that's terrible programming.

    Speaking of, I tried to use a Name Tag on one of my broken wolves, and it triggered ANOTHER glitch in which custom names don't even work anymore. Now, regardless of which world I'm in or if I've exited the game, none of my custom names work properly. On weapons, it'll just say, "Iron Sword" with the yellow text, indicating that the name was changed, but my custom name won't appear.

    This applies to ALL my custom-named items in ALL my worlds, all of their names are just the stock item with yellow text. It applies to whenever I try to give an item a new name, too.

    I dont think that has happened to me yet. Try Copying a world and deleting the original copy.

    Some news. The name tag glitch I mentioned above got fixed in the new update! All of my weapons have their proper names, and I can make new ones as I please.
