Star Fox Zero

So, a possible sequel (hopefully): History Fact: James McCloud is in another dimension, but Fox is able to see him somehow. It was clearly that Andross use his teleportation device to send James somewhere else. Andross is just a robot in this game, he never makes a physical appearance like he did in SF64 on the hard route. No alternate paths were made in this game.

  • Sorry, I meant alternate endings. It is suppose that this is a reboot so the old canon is like it never happened (or it did but in the old storyline). I'd really like to see what happens next after this game on this new storyline.

  • Officially Star Fox Zero isn't a reboot it is a re-imagining. You are free to view it as you want but that is the official label. Sorry I didn't make that last bit clear. Since we don't know what direction the series will take for me at the moment canon and current story remains unchanged. Whether that remains to be the case is down to what the next game is. Many ways they could take the series.

  • True. We can only speculate now, hopefully we get a new game for the Switch.

  • Lol I meant brother and sister, sorry about the misspelling. That's really cool, from where I live it's really hard to find someone who actually likes this series. I think I'm the only one who really likes Star Fox. It's hard to find people to play with.

  • It is hard to find people, truth of the matter is it takes some work to get into. A little more inscentive for people not in the know would go a long way. But ya, we troll and Star Fox as well haha

  • I hope we get a new game for Switch too although I wouldn't be against remakes of the two GameCube games as well.

  • @Deidre At the end, just true fans of Star Fox keep playing the game. Zero ended up being underrated because of the motion controls. I can understand why people bash the game because of it, an alternate option was really needed. They should have put both control styles and reward players for using the gamepad. But that's the way it goes, I'm still enjoying the game as best as I can.

  • @Deidre I'd like to have someone to play Star Fox with, mostly to compete. I have played co-op with my little nephew and he's pretty good at shooting lol. I've been enjoying co-op with him, but of course, it is different to play this game with a true fan, which I haven't had the chance to do.

  • @AngelFox I did enjoy Adventures and Assault. But I'm done with remakes. I'd rather see those games for VC instead. What I want to see is a new Star Fox with online co-op (each player using different arwing) and working their score throughout the stages as a team.

  • Remakes or virtual console release both would be fine by me. And I also agree the series really does need a proper new game.

  • I think more control options would've helped, but even with 64 people aren't quite sure what to do with standard controls. I think Star Fox is a very flat gaming series, but that's only the top layer. I would like them to make it easier to obtain skill. It truly is more fun becoming better and competing. Smash gives little rewards for becoming more skilled. Star Fox could use that.

  • Playing co-op with your nephew is cool. Teachem the ropes.
