Switch: End to Retro Zelda & Metroid?

The Switch is a console/portable hybrid. 3D titles have usually always been on consoles while top-down/2D Metroid & Zelda have been on handhelds. 3D titles are mostly more popular than retro style ones. Will the Switch embrace both current & retro fans of these two series or is it "out with old, in with the new?"

    They're still supporting the ds line separately, for how long remains to be seen ,but it doesn't look like they have plans for the switch to replace it.
