I'm very worried.

So, I went to the hospital, and I don't really remember the reason why (because I choose not to and I'm very tired) but, I'm going to have a chance to get a CAT scan. It's possible for me to get cancer, but how dangerous can it really be? Will it hurt? Will I pass out? Please tell me, because I've tried everything to make sure whatever the doctors recommend to me can be safe.
