Ignoring the mercenary's warning, Alba casually stepped forward, moving around the plants so long as they didn't impede her path. "What can I say? I like to challenge myself." -- Renato awoke to the sound of a knocking on his door; after briefly glancing at his alarm clock, he sat up & reluctantly got onto his feet. "Who is it?" He tiredly questioned.

Lyra: thanks. well, I'm sure you and Marisa can find Renato on your own from here, so I'll see you later either tomorrow or during one of my performances *waves and walks off* Lady Luck: *winks at Vera, waves, and then follows Lyra*

Lalalin:*like how she'd done with the recruit, she suddenly appeared next to Silver with her cheeks puffed up from food* Silver:Where'd you come from? Lalalin:Mmmgf? Silver:And where'd you get that food from? Lalalin:*she swallowed* Kitchen had stacks of food set up. Three if Lalalin remembers Silver:Three?! Lalalin:Mm-hmm.

"Found the breakfast I had prepared earlier, I take it?" Alba asked, not bothering to go for the more obvious question of how Lalalin had got there. "Maybe now that you're feeling better, SOMEBODY can stop badgering the poor wealthy young lady here!" The detective's younger sister watched Lyra leave before turning to enter the hospital. "Here we are, then. Mm... Now, what room was he in?"

Lalalin:And maybe you can leave Lalalin alone! You called Lalalin a failed experiment! *she turned to the opposite side and crossed her arms* Hmph! Silver:Alba i think you forgot that she ate three separate servings, those weren't ours by any chance?...I-I hate to be unprofessional, but i'm feeling a bit hungry... Lalalin:Lalalin forgot to tell the scared one that she was going out. Oh well

The heir took a moment to think his question over before going back to her usual overly cheerful grin. Unlike him, she wasn't feeling too hungry; thus, she was quick to try & play the situation off as all a part of her plan. "Well, if I had only got some cooperation, then maybe they would've been. Too little, too late!" ...Of course, the rumbling of her stomach quickly undermined that effort.

Silver:*he rolled his eyes at her* Everyone gets hungry, even snobs like you, no point trying to play it off.

I'll comment again when something happens with Lyra, which i suspect won't be for a while, but I'll keep up with whatever happens Lady Luck: oh, alright. i suppose I'll leave you alone for now *dissapears* Lyra: *eventually makes her way back to the hotel and begins preparing for her performance*

"Oh, 'snob' this, 'snob' that!" She mocked his tone with a roll of her eyes, her usual energetic demeanor seemingly unaffected by his words. If it weren't for Vera, the wealthy young woman would've already locked him up & threw away the key. She'd always been there for the mindreader to vent her frustrations, & while they'd more or less vanished as of late, many were the fault of the mercenary.

Silver:*sighs* Forget it, at least you were kind enough to give the benefit of the doubt to try and feed us and give us a place to stay...Well, i should mention you feed one of us... Lalalin:*she smirked as she fiddled with her dress as per usual*

Then again, seeing as those complaints had ceased recently, she figured the mercenary must've gone through some sort of reform. Maybe she was the one in the wrong, then; it wouldn't be the first time, & she wasn't entirely oblivious to her own actions. "Ooh? Is that praise I'm hearing now, or is it just me?" Alba asked sarcastically, trying & failing to hold back laughter at her own question.

Silver:Hey, take it when you can right?...But anyways...*he mumbled silently* Thanks for the help, even if you did steal my sword

"'Borrowed' your sword," Alba quickly corrected Silver, but refrained from taunting him as she had before. Coming to a stop, she looked the tall building they stood in front of up & down; the hospital. Not as grand of a building as the one her father had left her, but to their credit, it was surprisingly clean. One of the benefits of having a cleaning crew instead of armed guards, she supposed.

Silver:"Borrowed"...That means i probably won't even get it back *he muttered to himself* Lalalin:This is where that au-*she would've continued to mention how she saw Donn here once but she remembered what had happened last night*...Lalalin is going to kill him! Silver:*he turned to Alba and motioned to Lalalin, answering her question from a while ago*

"Oh? Is it property damage time already?" asked Alba in what seemed like a mixture of amusement & curiosity, taking off the shades that made up her disguise to get a better look. Vera let out a tired sigh as she finally reached the fourth floor. The elevator was out of order, & by the time she made it up the stairs, she'd forgotten what room the woman at the front desk told her Renato was in.

*By that time Lalalinhad already began scaling the hospital, using plants and roots like an escalator of sorts. Of course she forgot Silver and Alba* Silver:Huh, so, are we taking the stairs then? *he said while looking up at Lalalin*

Briefly glancing at the broken elevator, the heir indifferently shrugged her shoulders. "Not like we have much of a choice, do we? ...Race you up!" Without any further hesitation, she darted toward the stairs. The mindreader worked her way down the hall slowly, trying to locate Renato via his thoughts. The abundance of people nearby made it a tedious process, but she remained fairly patient.

Silver:*he smiled, he hadn't had a chance to finally have fun and forget about the dangers that the man in the mist could bring, so he chased her while laughing* I'm gonna win, you might as well give up you know!

"Please! Do I look like a quitter to you?" The wealthy young lady had a pretty good leas at first, but had to slow down to avoid those coming down the stairs. Now, she was only barely staying ahead. Vera froze upon hearing two familiar albeit unexpected voices, thus interrupting her own search. "Mm? ...Alba? Silver?" Their thoughts suggested they were running, but from what, she couldn't say.

Silver:I dunno, you look like you're gonna quit anytime now-...Oops, excuse me. *he said as he accidentally bumped into a woman*
