Got a Switch

And I have to send the left joycon in because that thing refuses to stay connected. Customer service was clearly adept at this one. Though the questions they asked continue to be ridiculous. If you have a fish tank for instance, the remote should still work. It's the 21st century after all.

    Pro controller is a must Josh. That right joystick position gets annoying for adult hands. :)

    I'll get the pro down the road but my only reason for getting it now was MK8 having the added steering assist. Wanted it for my kids and got the wheels to use the joycons in for them. Got 2 kids, need 2 joycons!

    I'm still hoping for some sort of hardware revision or something to improve these issues. I've heard from some folks who had no issue with Wii U Kart, that they have major trouble staying connected on the Switch. Granted they have poor internet but just the same; how can the Wii U game online more effectively for him than the Switch? Hopefully just some new server side hiccups & it all gets

    sorted before we have to pay for online. I myself have always had good luck with connection; the only thing that gave online errors on my U were oddly first party stuff. (And Ubisoft products when online) Kart gave me grief ever so often, Splatoon much more than Kart...but still rarely enough not to bother me, especially on a free console service. My other online stuff, Trine. MHTU, ME3,

    I haven't gone online yet. Not gonna bother until I can keep my left joycon synced to the Switch. Nintendo apparently throws some kind of conductivity foam square into it to fix the problem. Boosts the antennae.

    Gotta keep those kiddies of yours occupied ^^ I'd actually feel the need for those wheels myself. Joycons are a bit small for comfortable motion control atleast by themselves. However since I splurged on a pro controller & it has gyro. I use that for my mk8d motion control which works modestly enough but probably looks a bit funny.

    Mews: I'm gonna get the pro controller for myself, but want the kids to use the joycons in the wheel for MK8. Plus, if you buy something, it's always great if it performs the way it's supposed to.

    Kinl: I got MK8 for the kids but personally, I'm only definitely getting Splatoon 2 (w/the pro controller for that), and Xenoblade 2. ARMS (should have named it ARMED), is a possibility if the reviews suggest easy kid accessibility. Mostly, it was another impulse buy for me. I got Skyrim for the PS4 so I'm not feeling a 3rd dip there. But I'd get a sequel on the Switch (prays). And Zelda....

    I heard the Switch wifi works better with the 5 GHz connection. There has been D-pad issues with the Switch Pro Controller, which is unfortunate since the Switch games I have been playing would play best with the D-pad.
