    @DarkBlade! In the previous scene, the sun was dimmer then a sun ray appeared on Maisie :D. The song birds' song was barely audible but then grew louder and softer :).

    @DarkBlade! About the sun, the story stated that "the sun seemed to shine more brightly." Meaning to her, the sun seemed to be brighter. Similar to how some people feel rain follows them. Likewise, the birds "seem to sing more sweetly." Seeming doesn't necessarily mean being, it is how an individual perceives something :). We hope this helps and thank you for asking! :D
