    Jaemin sniffed, taking a deep breath. "I can't take a break! There'd be a huge scandal if I quit because I'm depressed. You know?" He sighed. "If I mess up I'll have bad press everywhere." He took a moment to regain his composure. "Maybe you could come to my next practice? It might help my confidence... Plus, who'd pass up a chance to see me shirtless?" He laughed, then added, "It's tomorrow~"

    "Yeah! I...I can't wait." /// The next day, as Jaemin was preparing for practice, he began to feel light-headed. But he ignored it. When he saw Raem, he waved, grinning. He and the others started getting into the water. Jaemin's light-headedness got the best of him, and he fainted, hitting his head as he fell into the pool. The others frantically pulled him out and laid him on the floor.

    Raem rushed over, worried. He pushed through the crowd, and got to his knees. He brought Jaemin into his embrace, and held him close. The people stared and took pictures, but Raem did everything he could to help. He got his phone and called the emergency services. Not long after, the ambulance arrived. An hour or so passed, and Jaemin began to wake up in a hospital bed. Raem sitting next to him.

    Jaemin opened his eyes, then looked around in confusion. "What happened?" A doctor entered the room, and told them that Jaemin had been malnourished. That he wasn't eating enough. When she left, Jaemin hid his face in his hands. "Oh, just wait until the press hears about this. I'll be all over the news..."

    Raem moved over on the bed, and sat cross legged, right across from Jaemin. "Hey." He grabbed Jaemin's hands and slowly lowered them. "You really should eat better. The doctor noticed an extreme lack of nutrients. And with all the swimming you do.. It made it worse." And then, he put his hands on Jaemin's face. "Promise me, you'll take care of yourself. I'm worried about you."

    "I won't." He brought Jaemin into his embrace again. Suddenly, on the read monitor behind, Jaemin's heart rate had increased, and dopamine chemicals were detected. Raem smiled to himself, and brought him closer. The read picked up even faster heart rates. "What's with the heartbeat? It quickened as soon as we began to hug."

    Jaemin laughed in embarrassment, his face red. "Sorry!" He paused, then pressed his soft lips against Raem's. His heartbeat quickened, indicated by the monitor. He broke away, then gently kissed Raem's neck.

    Weeks later, Jaemin was at a tournament. Probably the most important one of his career. He had nearly finished the lap when there was a bang in the crowd. A woman held up a gun, firing shots into the crowd and into the water. He rushed to the edge of the pool, desperate to see that Raem was safe.

    Raem, wasn't okay. He had suffered bullet wounds in his right arm and his left shoulder. He lay unconscious in the crowd, slowly bleeding out. Soon after, the police arrived with ambulances. They arrested the woman, and secured the wounded, rushing them to the hospital. Later, in the hospital bedroom, Raem began to wake.

    Raem, opened his eyes, and slowly felt his bandaged wounds. He winced from the light pain he felt. Then he carefully tried to sit up. "Jaemin? What.. happe-" He didn't get to finish his sentence before Jaemin brought him into a tight hug, giving him kisses all over. "Ah.. Thanks.." He smiled, as the pain began to fade in his embrace.
