Would you recommend the Surface Pro? I'm asking cuz I'm looking for a drawing tab myself rn. I only have a scroll tablet but it's pretty difficult to use(it took me sooooooo long to learn how to draw on it xD). I'm a beginner wanting to get more professional. So what can you tell me bout your experiences with the Surface Pro 3? =3

Captain From what I've learned with tutorials so far, Surface Pro can definitely make pretty high quality art, but it takes time to adjust to it. I specifally chose this rather than a Wacom tablet since I don't have a computer on the side, and a SP counts as a Tablet AND computer, so basically 2 in one. However Wacoms only seem better use since they're pretty good with shortcuts, but

Cintiqs are very pricey and Intous don't have a screen. So overall if you don't wanna spend so much money, don't go for a Cintiq. If you already have a computer and wish to use it for your drawings, maybe go for an Intous if you don't care having to use your monitor to draw. But if you don't have either, I'd definitely go for a SP 3 or even 4. It's all with preference.

But for easier use in art programs like Sai on the Surface Pro, it's preferable to have a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse along with it, mainly because shortcuts make things easier. You can do without like me but I'm actually gonna try to get the mouse and keyboard cause I need me some gosh darn shortcuts!

Thank you a lot! You really helped me out! Since I use that scroll tablet I'm used to draw with a separate monitor so that won't be a problem. I've been thinking bout buying the Intuos for quite a while now. But now I know I'm totally going for the Intuos! Well, thanx again. That's kind of you.

Dont worry about the first drawings on a drawing tab, in one or two weeks you will make it to draw good (Haah, I remember about my firt drawing with a tablet.. it looks very.. (I souldn't say that word here)) (Btw sorry for my bad english)

As long as you'll be using your tablet to draw, I may as well recommend Medibang Paint Pro. It's free and REALLY GOOD.

Captain Oh ayyy definitely! Back when i had a laptop I was always thinking of just getting an intous, but I'm not as skilled as other artist to use my monitor to see, so props to you for that. Glad I could help too. :) Laie (Hope I got that right) oh man it's gonna take probably more for me to adjust, I can be so sloppy. And no worries your English is fine. :)

Yeah, I didn't know about it either until, like, the start of the year(or earlier, I can't remember exactly)!

Aw sweet! It took me a few months to get used to using a graphic tablet! Keep practicing! And I use Sai too! My tablet is a sucky hand-me-down that works half of the time, so I'm getting a new one soon xD

Dude I can relate,I got a Wacom sketch and am still trying to get used to it. I've been using multiple programs and trying to find my own drawing style. I wish I had more time to use it but my computer keeps getting occupied by my bros.

Did you try looking it up a tutorial or something? That's what I did when I first got my drawing tablet. It was the blue wacom, and that's all I have to say about that.

Ah... Getting promoted I see. ^~^ Be sure you send a hint as to where you're heading. I'd certainly like to see how well you stick the landing. <3 <<PC user comment below!>> As for the Wacom no-screenie-problem, I've learned it's all a hand-eye coordination challenge that's learned when sufficient time has elapsed. It's definitely a quick skill to gain, takes a few weeks to grasp.

As an owner of a Surface 3, I know from experience that this takes time. Practice with programs that you think are good enough for you, and go from there. And with the most recent update, there is a 'sketchpad' app at the right side of the taskbar near the clock (it looks like a pen drawing)
