I've played the demo, but I wasn't a fan of the gameplay. I've heard people praise the story & characters, but honestly, I've never cared as much for those things compared to actual game mehanics. It's obvious the game is a love letter to the "Mother" series, but I didn't like Earthbound when I played it & Undertale seems to draw heavily from it, so I just don't think it's meant for me.

undertale may not be for everyone, but the mechanics of the game makes me drawn into the plot. the best part of undertale is the music. hey, if you have youtube, search up bonetrousle, megalovania, battle against a true hero, death by glamour, and more of these undertale songs

Again, I've never really cared much for plot in games & it has always been more about the gameplay, so the praise Undertale gets for its plot isn't going to win me over. I've heard Undertale music before & while I think it sounds pretty alright, I don't particularly listen to soundtracks of things I don't play/watch, so I'm probably not going to dive any further into that.

You're not going to win me over on a game that I don't really enjoy the gameplay of. If I don't enjoy the "game" part of a video "game" then I'd rather not pursue it any further in favor of putting my time into something more suited to my tastes. I don't think the game is bad at all, I'm sure it's very good for its targeted audience, but I'm just not part of that target audience.

okay get this, the hero in undertale[fallen child] has a reference to samurai jack

the fallen child fell down a hole in a mountain just like jack was sent back in time by aku, and the childs only objective is to get back to the overworld, otherwise known as his home and jack needs to go back to his home like tne kid in undertale

While it's neat to see other series referencing it, I'm not going to play through an entire game because of a single reference to a favorite cartoon of mine. You most certainly would have no interest in some of the games I enjoy & this is just a case where different preferences towards game design create parallel opinions between two people with you loving Undertale & me having no interest in it.

That's not really a reference so much as a trope many stories use. Honestly, going down a hole into a crazy world & trying to get back is more similar to "Alice in Wonderland" or "Journey to the Center of the Earth". "Samurai Jack" isn't the 1st story to be about a hero stranded somewhere & trying to get home. It's a premise that has been done many times before & after "Samurai Jack".

Some of my favorite games are Pokémon Emerald, Bioshock series, Super Metroid, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros. in general, Skyrim, SUPERHOT, Overwatch, Super Mario World, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Shadow of the Colossus, DOOM (2016), Double Dash, Star Wars: Rogue Leader, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Portal 2, Majora's Mask, etc.

Yeah, it's a pretty popular game & what I consider the best Sonic game still.

have you turned into super sonic/knuckles/tails and hyper sonic/knuckles/tails. i did it like 100 times. its pretty easy once you get used to the levels and location of the giant rings.
