  lately i've been doing more extensive research on sphenes to help with the development of my gemsona but im still not sure what to rank her. sphenes are very rare gems so she should be a higher up, but they also have a mohs scale of 5-5.5 so they're really fragile. they grow around quartzs(which are around 7mohs) so she wouldnt be good at fighting due to (i'd imagine) being short & fragile...

  ... (idk) i was going to go for an axe as a weapon to protect herself with(not just because axes are my favoritelol). sphenes are known for their calming qualities and fire so those could be her main powers. Theyre also known for being as lusterous as diamonds so im not exactly sure how high to make her rank. i was thinking either elite or attorney general. what do you guys think?

  (that was actually i white-lie towards myself... i've actually been kinda hating axes ever sense i started disliking creepypastas(my old oc use to have one). i want to like axes, but knowing i got into axes because of creepypastas kinda grosses me out abit.) gollygosh im tired

  i was thinking of maybe a long range or defensive weapon to make up for her low mohs scale. i'll still need to think about it because im still working on her while trying to create new ocs to go with her. but thanks for the help, and thanks for liking her^^

  I think higher ranked gems have kinda more magical weapons? For example Holly blue has a electric whip and Aquamarine has her wand (but there is a theory that she just got the Wand and it's not her actual weapon) Also it depends which diamond she belongs to. The blue diamond gems look very classy and are powerful. Yellow diamonds gems are powerful and look powerful (Topaz is high ranked)

  @moonchild: that makes sense, however i'd initially made her for yellow diamonds because shes yellow-green in color. like how the famethyst are supposd to be quarts "soldiers", but seem to be under the BD authority, so its not entirely certain on which gems get chosen by which authority. although, it seems to be based around color mostly but with some exceptions like skinny jasper and carnelian.

  (also, dont forget peridot worked under YD and was more of a scout tbh) and for the magical weapon thing, dont all weapons seem magical tbh? pearls spear has lazers, amethysts wipes can make purple "fire" ect. but idk.
