    Bimbo was a character made by Fleischer Studios. Fleischer Studios were the creators of Betty Boop. Fleischer Studios also created the 1930s Popeye cartoons. Betty Boop was originally Bimbo's love interest. Eventually, Betty Boop became even more popular than Bimbo. Thus, Betty Boop became the main character. You can watch some of Bimbo's cartoons on youtube.

    I would suggest the cartoons "Swing You Sinners!" and "Bimbo's Initiation". Those 2 cartoons are know for being a bit... dark and surreal.
