    on the village screen, you will see a button that says streetpass heroes. click the button underneath it and recruit heroes, then just do the quest like normal.

    He meant the blue button not the streetpass button, you'll get AI controlled adventurers from the internet, replace a teammate with 1 of them and you should be good.
