So far, in Platinum, I've managed to get six shiny Shinx a day. 0:

If I can keep this up, I should have well over a box by June 4, so the giveaway might go over better than I expected. :V

  • I can barely get shinies as it is. And you're getting shinies 6 times a day. What am I doing wrong with my life?

  • I almost exclusively shiny hunt in pokemon, so that's the main reason I'm able to get stuff. It's mostly just time consuming, but don't give up hope. 0: If you have Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, chaining in that game is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Get to a chain of 40, and then it's just a waiting game for a shiny patch after that.

  • With those numbers, I'm surprised you aren't using a perfect Cute Charm ID or some other RNG-based stuff. That's some pretty solid radar-chaining you're doing.

  • It's over about twelve hours each day, though I've been tempted to look into finding a perfect Cute Charm ID to see if it cuts my time down. I can only keep up full days of chaining for a few more days, unfortunately.

  • It definitely will. But it does take a good amount of prep work with the RNG. Or I guess you could always look into getting the RNG to help with encounters without Cute Charm if interested. It's slow at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can get shinies pretty quickly (join the dark side!)
