    Nope. I'm pretty sure Nintendo wants a pure handheld system alongside the Switch. Mostly because the Switch has a low battery life and can't fit in your pocket

    All great answers, especially Raen. My friend just bought a 2DS so I'm glad it's going to keep trucking. I had a feeling with all the great games out for it already and the library ever expanding, it'd keep afloat for years. Better invest in a New 3DS, then.

    Yeah, the 3DS is safe for another 2 years at least or as long as people keep on using it, spending money on it, buying new games for it & buying new ones in general!

    I was worried about the Switch stealing the 3ds' thunder. Now that I know the battery life is low, I can breath easy and get more 3ds games :D
