Ooookay. So I have PAA on my 3ds and it's great so far. But I'm thinking of getting Art Academy on my.... Is Art Academy any good? (more importantly, does it have layers?)

  • No layers. Can only undo one step. When you switch drawing tools, it flattens the image. I'm not too hot on it, it's kind of awkward to use for me compared to DAA. :P

  • There really aren't any options, per se. It is definitely disappointing, I almost feel like it's not worth the extra resolution. Oh, and there are only like 3 options for mark size instead of being able to choose a percentage! THAT is pretty frustrating.

  • It definitely sounds disappointing. How is DAA?

  • I haven't seen PAA, but DAA has 3 layers, custom signatures, NO LOGO IN THE CORNER OF EVERY PICTURE. I like it a lot. :]

  • I say just get an actual drawing program and tablet for computer.100% better than those programs, and you have so much freedom that it's nearly unreal. And reallyall you've got to buy is the drawing tablet, you can get a free program like Krita, and already be off better than both of those programs combined. And really, you don't even need to get a really expensive tablet, just one of the small ones.

  • @Wibby I actually have a tablet, but i'm afraid my computer finally kicked the bucket. I bought PAA for long trips or days of boredom and laziness. Mainly just to have a small Drawing thing with me wherever I go, but I just wanted to have something on WiiU just incase something happens. :/
