Game Announcements Before E3

Have anyone else been noticing that we're getting some pretty interesting game announcements before E3 even happens? And this isn't just for this year, but I think that I started noticing it around E3 2015. (I'll explain more in the comment section)

    We got the announcement of Need For Speed: Payback from EA and Ghost Games, we got Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 from Capcom, we got Call of Duty: WWII (which I'm interested in, but I bring it up just to show what I'm talking about), heck we're even getting an Pokemon Direct video that's going to be aired in just a few hours from now and who knows what Nintendo will show off.

    And now thinking about it, we're not just getting official game announcements before E3, but also new gameplay trailers, as well. Not too long ago, we got that Custom Hero Trailer for Sonic Forces officially by Sega, along with an official release date and pre-order trailer for Sonic Mania, which was a really good trailer by the way.

    Even though, I view all this as being kinda weird to see all of sudden, I don't see any of this as a bad thing, AS LONG as the companies who reveal their big games before the big event has a lot more games to show off and surprise us with.

    And I really wish that Miiverse would have a edit option on here, but I meant to say that I'm not interested in Call of Duty: WWII. It took me a little while to realize my mistake.
