Can I trade it or no?

so i got a shiny victini from someone on link trade, and i was wondering how he was able to trade it since it is impossible to get. [i know its hacked but i just want to know how the person was able to trade it].

    well link trades do usually ignore alot of rules that gts and wonder trade have.

    Gamefreak messed up their online legality checkers in Gen 7. It blocks most impossible shinies, but it allows Shiny Celebi, Meloetta, Victini, and Keldeo to be traded online or used in online battles, despite actually being illegal pokemon.
