My video cuts out sometimes while I play games. Is this a problem with the TV or the HDMI cable? Any clue?

  • Hoo boy! Tech support time! *cracks knuckles* Okay, firstly make sure that the power plug is firmly fitted in the socket. Secondly, and more importantly, are you having issues ONLY when you play games? Does it happen when you're watching TV? If it does happen for both, then it's more likely a TV issue. BUT if it's just on the gaming, then yes, check on the HDMI. You might have to replace the

On rare occasions, it could be damage done to the sockets itself be it on the TV or the game system itself. You can test it by giving the ends of the HDMI a wiggle. if there's alot of wiggle on the sockets, then it might be an internal wiring issue. Again, this is rare depending on your care.
