Alright, all those people complaining about Star Fox Zero clearly don't know what they're talking about. This game is awesome!

  • A lot of the complaining came from people who never actually tried it. They were upset the controls didn't allow for more options so didn't buy it based on that. You are actually given more control in this game than prior Star Fox games. I enjoyed it a lot. To be fair, there were plenty that did try but could never acclimate.

  • The only thing I've had trouble with so far is when there's a boss battle and it forces the TV in to some lame "cinematic"/"epic" camera angle instead of letting me see what I'm doing. Like during the boss of the first level, I kept crashing in to the thing and getting shot by those giant lasers because I couldn't tell where I was.

  • I've also heard complaints about the little helicopter thing, but I really like playing with it.

  • The cinematic view isn't for pure gameplay, you'll want to focus on the gamepad. It's pretty much for keeping track of enemies. Some bosses have multiple ways to be defeated too. Enjoy!

  • That still doesn't help if I keep crashing in to things because I can't tell where I am, though.

  • Nice to see you delving into this beast! My favourite game in the series.

  • I'm still early on, so it's too soon to tell for me. It's up there with the original and 64 3D for sure, though.

I bought this game recently. I want to try it soon but I don't know when. Maybe next week.
