This is stressful

So I'm going to the beach with my cousin, but I recently got a cut. As you know, the beach has a lot of bacteria, and I don't want to risk getting an infection. But my cousin keeps telling me all these things that I should still go in the water so that it's not boring for him and me. Why do I have to be related to such a stubborn person!
