Thoughts on Minecraft

Touchy subject here. Some love it, some hate it. While the game's fan base started it's bad reputation, I actually find it enjoyable when I'm OFFLINE. When I'm isolated from other players, I actually feel more calm and find myself addicted, making and doing whatever comes to mind.

    Minecraft is a game that is best enjoyed... uh... however it is enjoyed by each person. For example, I like the technical aspects the most, such as command blocks and redstone, but someone else may like the other aspects such as survival and crafting more. Most people see the fans and just think, "I'm never playing this game because of these people".

    @Seriousguy: That's actually a good way at looking at it. Why I never thought of that is beyond me. And yeah, I was almost like those people. But then I decided to give it a shot, and found myself loving the game. Dr.Nope: Exactly. It's sad how much a fanbase can actually harm a game's image.
