Top 10 "Steven Universe" Songs:

I'm a bit late with this, but the "Steven Universe: Volume 1" Soundtrack released several days ago (it's pretty good). After listening through all the songs, here's my ranking of my 10 favorites with reasoning for each.

2."Here Comes a Thought": Another Garnet song, this one lets her do a more laid-back, soothing song. Yet, we also get a rare song debut by Stevonnie (Steven & Connie fusion) who have a beautiful voice on par with Garnet's. It also tackles a mature philosophy of maintaining internal peace in a way that even young viewers can understand through a sweet duet. That takes skill!

1. "It's Over Isn't It?": This is beautiful & has "Broadway" sound which works well for a musical episode. Pearl's vocals & emotions are superb at portraying her relationship with Rose, sadness at losing her to Greg & having her leave, & the pain of not being able to move on with her life with that piano I love. Loss & moving on from it is a mature/tough message & this song handles it perfectly.

Nice list! However, I forget what "Steven's Song Time" is. Also, I thought, "What's the Use of Feeling Blue" or "Stronger than You" were your favorite "Steven Universe" songs, why's "It's Over Isn't It?" number one?

I had a difficult time deciding if love like you or it's over isn't it? should be number 1,I went with it's over isn't it? because of the high quality and broadwayesque musical number by pearl,It's probably the best song that deedee magnall (i forgot her last name) the song is both full of beauty & melancholy at the same time, I'll explain more tomorrow because with now i'm all out of posts, Later

Nice. Although, you are aware I wasn't asking you to redo your list, right? I was just asking for some clarification since some rankings confused me when compared to previous statements of yours. Also, I see "Love Like You" is now #1.

I'm ok with the do over after all i realized that i wasn't happy with some of the ranking, And i un fairly place some songs into questionable positions

It's fine. I changed some of my thoughts on songs as a result of the official soundtrack. "Stronger than You" used to be my 3rd favorite & "Love Like You" was overlooked since it got designated to credits. Yet, when I listened to both on the soundtrack, "Stronger than You"'s really synthesized instrumental became more apparent & I got to hear the full, beautiful version of "Love Like You".

Also i i redid my list because some entries looked very similar to yours, So i changed it to avoid accidentally copying your list, Now stronger then you that one has always been one of my favorites (i'm a sucker for synth/ techno/electronic music)

Feel free to be honest with your choices, I'm not going to worry about you copying me since I acknowledge we share decently similar mindsets when it comes to things. As for techno/electronic music, I'm not a big fan of it, so I wish they would have used genuine instruments or at least eased up on the synthesized sound. Also, are you going to see "Wonder Woman" today?

Yes finally i am going to see wonder woman today! (after much trouble with scheduling) And yeah the futuristic sounding music that i enjoy may not be your cup of tea and i respect that, As for similar mindsets it doesn't mean absolutely similar choices

I understand we'll have similar choices since we have similar ways of thinking, but we also have different thoughts (you love techno, not so much for me.). I'd like to correct myself; I'm okay with techno/electronic music when it's energetic, danceable, club-style songs, but that's about it. Lastly, I have one thing to say about "Wonder Woman": No credits scenes, so you can leave when it's over.
