    Lucy grabbed Ferran, the fire disappearing from her wings and skin. She flew, fast as lightning, to the portal, She shoved Ferran into the portal, not giving him a chance to speak. With one last glance around, Lucy ducked into the portal.

    Ferran shuddered as he was let down, collapsing onto the floor. Where the water from the sprinklers had touched his 'skin', there were holes that exposed his metal bones and wire veins. His chest was a patchwork of skin and metal, the skin on his arms was completely eaten away, and his face was a wreck. He twitched, muttering something unintelligible.

    Ferran didn't move, sliding out of Endion's grasp and onto the floor. His thoughts were muddled with pain. He still had organs, after all, and being exposed wasn't good for them. His face was practically empty, just eyes on a skull with lone patches of skin.

    The Avian leads everyone to a large basket-like platform. "Everyone load in. I'll carry you all the rest of the way." Zazz laughed."As if you can carry all of us!" Endion replies to Zazz's remark. "In his other form he can." Endion gets into the basket. Zazz immediately shųts up and gets in.

    Ferran nodded slightly, trying to make sense of their words. He could barely hear anything over the sound of his pulse's pounding in his ears. He took a shaky step forward, and would've collapsed again without the support of Lucy and Endion. He shuddered again, trying to close his eyes but realizing he no longer had eyelids. So he just settled for staring at the ground while he shook in pain.

    "It would take a while. By the way, call me Averon." Averon steps out of the basket, then ascends into the Aeonian phoenix Valefor, then grabs the handle and lifts the whole basket up into the air. Zazz's jaw drops at this.

    "We'll get you to a place to rest as soon as we can. For now, just hold on." Lucy murmured to Ferran, trying to provide at least a little comfort. She turned her gaze to the view, recalling how close she had come to being in a rage. She quickly shook the thought from her mind, her eyes traveling over the many trees littering the land.

    Valefor attaches the basket to a docking point on the building, then enters and reverts to his normal form, staggering however. "Nghh... We're here..." Endion proceeds to help Ferran inside.

    Ferran stumbled in, reaching blearily for the nearest chair and falling into it front-first. He tried saying something, but quickly gave up the effort, as his brain felt like it had just been electrocuted- a likely possibility, when wires and water were involved.

    Averon approaches Endion and Ferran. "Endion, did you scan him beforehand?" Endion confirms. "Good. I can make him as good as new, then." Averon hands Endion a datacube, where he puts the scan data he got on Ferran for Averon to use. "Now time to get down to business..." He starts work on repairing Ferran.
