My plan

Ok. I think theres a 57% chance im gonna get a Switch. But I want to keep the Wii U as well, but theres a problem. My TV has 2 HDMI ports, and those are already used. I might get rid of my Wii U, but I might get some of the Wii U games onto my 2DS. And by that I mean im gonna use the 3DS remakes of Wii U games.

  • So heres how this is gonna work. 1. I take my Wii U to my local GameStop to get it traded in for cash, from what I heard is $100.00. 2. I use the cash to get 2 or 3 3DS games, I might go for Super Mario Maker and Super Mario 3D Land.

  • But I wanna ask you. Should I get Super Mario 3D Land or Poochy & Yoshi's Wooly World? Please let me know in the comments!

  • Trade in the Wii U, keep the 3DS, it'll have a more unique lineup. Wii U games as I predicted are most likely (the popular ones) are getting ported over to Switch. So there's that.

  • By the way, my Wii U was using up one of my HDMI ports, which is why im planning to get rid of it.

  • So be it, outside of a few exclusives that will probably never get ported (Wonderful 101) I see no use in keeping it.

  • Eric– Yeah take Super Mario Maker for example. There arnt even rumors of a SMM Deluxe or something, but im sure that will come in 2018.

  • Actually, I'm sure Mario Maker is coming, that (like Mario Kart and Pokken) were hindered by the horrid sales of the Wii U. On Switch it will flourish.

  • Yeah. Besides that, I kinda dont like the name with "Deluxe" in it. I mean, come on! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Pokken Tournament Deluxe? Whats next?! Mario Party 10 Deluxe?!
