It's impressive how far Five Nights at Freddy's™ managed to stretch itself. A simple game, with fairly simple gameplay, and a mysterious, creepy lore. And it b l e w u p. A total of 6 games, a novel, a potential movie - not to mention a straight F'd-up fandom. Remember: Scott Cawthon made all of the FNAF games b y h i m s e l f.
