battle tree rigged?

i don't know what's going on here but no matter what team i use i cannot make it to round 50 all it takes is one pokemon to make my team fall apart and the rng also feels rigged like sleep moves hitting more then they should sometimes i can't make past the first round do you think they will fix it in ultra sun and moon?

    It feels that way because it IS that way, it's to simulate the opponent's Pokémon having more skill or something like they're well trained and as such, land Critical Hits more often and miss less attacks, at least that's how I see it. It's been this way since Gen V I believe, or that was the rng peak at least. Ridiculous.

    Hasn't it been that way since the introduction of the Battle Tower in Crystal? Or maybe starting in Ruby/Sapphire, and Battle Frontier in Emerald? Really just all post game areas.
