  • If your ports are open which I imagine they are then you don't need to place the Wii U outside the dmz. Do you own Black Ops 2? If so what is your nat type?

  • I'm guessing most online players are in the States. Other people are not getting games due to their ports being blocked!

  • Well you need to access your routers settings..each manufacturer has a different ip to access settings. Who makes your router?

  • Ok here they are 80 tcp, 3040 udp, 87-89 tcp, 52-54tcp, 3073-3075 tcp/udp (both) and I noticed my router was using 13000udp when playing splintercell!

  • DMZ Opens all ports to the device, so opening ports 'Shouldn't' be required If WiiU already set in dmz, although opening specific ports is more secure than dmz.

  • I've got a lan adapter, but found it slowed downloads and increased Latency and Jitter than when using Wifi (latency wifi:10-15ms lan:25-30ms Jitter wifi:5 lan:15) over multiple tests.

  • Might see how well Lan is at connecting though. Will let you know.
