  • I love Nintendo, but they're mainly to blame for Wii U's predicament and only mario as their big non party game this holiday and no other is a shot in the leg. Mario might be the best-selling series,

  • but another IP along with it that was new and not just a jazzed up port, which most Wii U games are, would've made Wii U more appealing. More 3rd party and lack of 1st party isn't doing Nintendo

  • @Nenecito: Not to start a pointless argument but I'm pretty sure piracy is more rampant now than ever before.

  • Still got the OG but definitely going to pick this up when i have the time. Seems to fix all the things that i didn't like in the original. Plus it looks gorgeous.

  • I got to disagree about the NES, Chrissie. 3rd party support on NES was enormous and had a lot of stinkers too. There were a buttload of timeless classics and the machine is legendary but

  • the Nintendo Seal Of Quality did not guarantee quality gaming. It only guaranteed that the game worked and was somewhat playable.

  • NES did have loads of 3rd party games which did stink but I was talking about the beginning of the NES era.

  • I think, Mikka, that you are assuming quality standards of TODAY with quality of yesteryear. Back then, gaming was still relatively new to the general masses, and what would qualify for stinkers now

  • didn't even register as such because there was no comparison. For instance: I loved the NES Wolverine game. It is a classic, and plenty of my old buddies would agree. HOWEVER! I realize, now, that it

  • Well there were a lot of bad games even by the standards of era they were released, but i know what you mean. I loved the first TMNT game on the NES as a kid but no amount of nostalgia will make that
