Received my copy of "The Wind Waker HD" today! :) But I was a bit surprised, because it didn't include a manual... :( I have always enjoyed a good Zelda manual with some artwork and stuff. :/

  • Aww, I'm so jealous. But I hope you enjoy it.

  • But they're not missing! They're electronic manuals these days, and they can be good, too. Though I'd prefer a printed manual...

  • No printed manual??? I love reading these manuals in the past when I got a new game.

  • I didn't expect so many people feeling the same way... Do you hear that Nintendo? Give us some physical love!

  • It's one step closer to a digital future. Sigh. The last cool manuals were done by Grasshopper with No More Heroes (2). Old schhol fun.

  • I felt sad too -_-; when i spend 60 € on a game, i expect some physical value in return.

  • Luckyyy! I gotta wait till tomorrow lol. Preordered, just gotta pick it up. :)

  • I miss physical manuals with artwork too, but on the plus side, at least digital manuals are more environmental friendly on reducing paper usage.

  • ...Also, it would require some serious skill to receive a paper-cut from a digital manual! XD

  • Nicholas > In this context, I don't care about "environmental friendly". ^_~ Yeah, and with these Wii U discs with rounded edges, a paper cut ("disc cut"?) is even less likely. *^.^*

  • They could make the manuals better now when they're electronic manuals. You have so much more options, like animations, sound and other stuff. So it have potential to become better than paper.

  • I don't care about environmental issues in this context either. If Nintendo really would care too, they won't use these gigantic Amarays for packing their games. A jewel case or paper sleeve would do

    Yeahs0
  • the same job more environmental. Nintendo could stop printing these warning papers instead - no one ever reads them!!! Sony and Microsoft don't have them, and they don't get sued every day.

  • Electronical manual is devil work! I wish the return of paper manual.

  • Klas-Kent > Good point! Showing the player an animation or short movie could make things easier to understand, then just reading about it. Things could be added to the manual as you make progress...

    Yeahs0
  • ...to avoid spoilers. Like, you can read about or see how stuff works after you acquire them (could come in handy if you forget how to use it).

    Yeahs0
  • *than

    Yeahs0
  • Yeah, I guess we just have to make a fuzz about it so Nintendo realize this! And understand that we care about the manuals as well!

  • :)
