    well, Mass Effect 3 Special Edition has no especially Support from EA. so it doesn't matter if it is only on disc.

    it's cause of that ea can't allow it to be downloadable plus the data to download is massive 10gigs me1 27gigs me2 54 gigs me3 and that's not including dlc
