    To link them I set up Miiverse on my 3DS, it asked for a NNID and I put my existing Wii U NNID. I think you need to put your existing NNID on either your 3DS or Wii U.

    I might have to delete my 3DS ID to link them. So do you know if all your posts and data on miiverse also get deleted? Thats the only thing holding me back from doing it.

    Good question. I don't think they would be deleted but they would not be linked to your profile anymore. Why did you create a new NNID if the system asks you for an existing or for a new NNID?
