Is it right that you lose a ball after defeating the sleeper on final showdown?.I beat him on ball 2,flippers wouldn't work,then on the cage thing I was on ball 3?

No,there must have been an error...I played this mode 5 times! Never happened something like this!

Happened to Hyna but I didnt restart on the next ball...

Flippers don't work after you complete each of the last 3 missions to drain any remaining ball. I never noticed losing a ball due to it though.

Meanwhile the plural of 'ball' seems to be a no no on miiverse.
