I would welcome any new to machines to the virtual console although with some games like Mario Sunshine i would prefer a HD release.

Im pretty sure they listened already they made 3DS miiverse and SSB for 3DS and its makining the WiiU look like garbage now.

Im not sure if gamecube VC can save the WiiU.

Wii U News is correct, they have to start listening whether they like it or not. We need some content, they promised no droughts since the n64 days, one game a month at least..

I highly doubt we actually will get a GCN VC on Wii U. If it does come, I wouldn't expect WW or TP to be there.

I agree. If there's no content soon, then there's going to be a massive issue on their hands. Also, Nintendo, we're still waiting for MM3D!

This should definately be a priority for Nintendo. As well as releasing the thousands of other games from other consoles. But gamecube's the one I want to see most after N64.

I actually think that this shouldn't really be a priority. I mean, you can play GC games perfectly on the Wii, which sold VERY well and is only one console generation ago.

What I think goes under a lot of people's radar is the possibility of also adding (last-gen) Wii games to VC as download.

I know you can use direct disk backward compatibility, and that is very welcome, but some Wii games are hard to find, and would be very welcome as a download option.

I will support this, but sadly, I don't think it'll happen. Judging by WWHD, & the fact that Nintendo isn't planning GBA games for the 3DS VC, we'll most likely just get a few HD remakes...

As much as I would like the game of the gamecube to be on WiiU, the WiiU doesn't suport trigger sensitivity, so some games would be imposible to make.

Pfft, who needs Gamecube games on the VC when I've got my Gamecube right here? Besides, having the digital version just isn't the same as having the case and disc.

GCN ISOs are huge, there is no chance of geting them on VC.

The most data they hold is 1.5 GB, They're very possible to hit the Vc! (Only If U Got the extra storage Though)

@Wii U News you should make a petition to bring N64, gamecube and sega consoles to VC... something like "dear nintendo please add N64, gamecube and sega consoles to Wii U VC"

I agree with this. Also could you please make a petition for Beyond Good & Evil HD on the wii U it really is an amazing game but the sales were quite poor. How ever i believe that if the HD release---

would sell a lot better and maybe have more fan support for the sequal! also there is a really low fan base for the game but the HD wii U release would be so amazing with the huge environments and---

@Benjamin I don't think GameCube games can take up THAT much space in System Memory. GCN games can only go up to 1.35 GB, and Wii U has 8 GB or 32 GB. Huge space for GCN, eh?

And let's not forget that you can plug in a USB Hard Drive up to 2 TB. (And it's no problem for N64 games; They'd just be Megabytes to System Memory, even. Impressive, if I say so myself)

There is a lack of analogue triggers on the Wii U gamepad and pro controller. Nintendo would have to release another controller just to play half of the games.

Apart from that, the hardware should be able to run them natively, no need for the extra work needed emulating older consoles. Shame about those triggers.

the gamecube Nintendo 64 come never on WII U. Nintendo working now on a new GAMEconsole. WII U is already dead en Nintendo understand : time for a next generation.

And a USB Drive makes sense. Considering you'll need it for DK: Tropical Freeze, since it takes 11.8 GB to download!

Great petition @Wii U News! Nintendo already confirmed GBA & N64 games are coming to the Wii U VC. Hence I really want them to release some of those just so they can release some GameCube games like-

-Super Mario Sunshine & Mario Kart: Double Dash. I've been itching to play them on the gamepad screen off-tv, had to hold myself back from playing them on my Wii in gamecube mode.

The GC was no big hit back in the day, that came later with the Wii. So I don't think N is so eager to dig up those games for such a small audience.

Also. If you guys want support from N support them back so they will think it's worthwhile. Tip your friends and family to buy a Wii U, spread the word and get those sales up!

Yeah, I've heard Reggie say he wanted gamecube on Wii U VC too but no actual official confirmation from Nintendo at all.

Again, I'd love to participate in this, Wii U News, but I just can't support this. If Gamecube games become available on the VC the boxed versions are probably just going to ramp up in price...
