Ya it's like putting math and science into pokemon like how Red died and all that. Think of it, We're talkin about a world where rats are yellow and red and can shoot out lightning...

The anime is mostly aimed at kids (I still enjoy it, though), but the games are for everyone. Quick reminder that Lt Surge says there was a war in Kanto, and he fought alongside his Pokemon.

YOUR ALL WRONG! ash was walking on his adventure one day, and he saw a hoho and if you see a hoho it gives you what makes you happy and what keeps ash happy is finding pokemon so he's always 10.

I talked about the Ho-oh thing but i think that the lightning was a moment for Pikachu to start trusting Ash and the Ho-oh was to add some mystery into the anime. That's what I think anyways...

ACTUALLY... The anime is leaning towards adults, if you pay attention. There's a lot of things that only adults would understand, whether it's appropriate or inappropriate.

I have to agree there, there is some stuff for teenage/adult fans. Some of the villanous teams, romantic elements and more in depth plots aren't always geared to kids.

To be fair I'm guessing most adults would be displeased with the newer series of pokemon, considering they would have grown up watching the awesome original series.
